Tigers 12 U at Northstars add to their CoopersTown Home Run Total

Tigers Add More Home Runs to Their Count


Even with Drake's 3-3 performance at the plate, the Tigers took a 15-5 loss to the Northstars on Monday evening.  At the top of the 1st inning, Eddie and Barry John hit line drives that nearly landed them on base. Dalen hit a popup to end the first half.  Midway through the inning, Barry John caught a pop fly to right field, Joshua assisted Dalen in a line out to first base.  Bryan then caught a fly to shortstop that ended the inning.

The Tigers brought home their first run at the top of the 2nd inning, Carson singled to center field and then stole 2nd.  Drake singled a line drive to right field which advanced Carson to home. In the bottom of the inning, Bryan assisted Dalen for the first out, Jaden caught a fly ball to center field, and Carson threw to Dalen to finish the inning.

As the 3rd inning began, Jake was walked, Barry John singled to center field, and then Dalen hit his 4th home run to center field knocking Jake and Barry John home.

In the bottom of the 3rd, Carson assisted Dalen to pick off a runner at 1st.  Joshua then caught a fly at 3rd base, and Bryan assisted Eddie for the final out of the inning.
To start off the 4th inning, Drake hit his first HOME RUN of the week.

To continue the inning, Carson struck out the #2 batter, Barry John caught another fly ball to RF, and Bryan assisted Dalen to end the inning.

Carson had a great performance in his first Cooperstown pitching appearance.


He's OUT!

Jake took one for the team in the top of the fifth, landing him on base.  Eddie then hit a single to shortstop, advancing Jake and then Dalen followed with a walk, advancing Eddie to 2nd and Jake to 3rd. Midway through the 5th Joshua caught a fly ball at 2nd base and Bryan assisted Dalen with an out at 1st, Carson then assisted Dalen with another out at first to end the 5th inning.

The game ended in the 6th with no runs, but a game that added 2 more home runs to the Tigers count this week. Tigers home run count: 7.  Dalen's home run count: 4
